Epiphany

Atop a mountain I sit and wonder,
About the route I had taken anew.
Decisions I humored for quite some time,
Did I set my own future asunder?

As I catch glimpse of a bright shooting star,
Fabrication of imageries induced.
A ship that berths before my very eyes,
Beckon for merry adventures afar.

I board and embark for benevolence,
Friends accompany this dream fruition,
And we travel to unwavering heights,
To ascertain meaning of our transcedence.

Many obstacles expose nerves that probe-
Questions of resolution amongst us.
Opposing contentions settle abridged,
In hopes to cautiously traverse the globe.

Awoken with a thundering breakthrough,
Events that have led up to this moment,
I would not change and with joyful descent,
From the mountain I return home to you.
