Love

Love doesn't wait for anybody,

It will sneak up on you,

It's a precious thing

That isn't a commodity.

Love can choose when to show,

When to strike and turn

your world upside down,

In a single blow.

Love will inevitably find you,

No matter how hard you try

To avoid this fact of life,

That was meant for two.

Love will attack your weakness,

To entice your soul,

So that you will give in,

And accept it's stubbornness.

Love will soften your resolve,

To throw you challenges,

To question your choices,

Love's puzzle to solve.

Love could be long,

It could be short,

It could be right,

It could be wrong.

Love may be in disguise,

And be called other names,

But it leads to a connection,

That all should surmise.

It's better to love,

Than to not love at all,

Or you'll miss that chance,

That's right in front of

You.
