Smiles
A smile a day,
To at least a person that way,
I hope even for a moment,
To remove any torments,
On days gone awry,
I promise to try,
To turn that frown,
Upside-down.

But,
What,

If you do not have one
And feel your day done,
It will be fine,
I will give you mine,
And together,
We will be better,
Sharing a smile,
I hope worthwhile.

Then,
When,

I see you smile,
My heart runs miles,
I have yet to under-
Stand these reasons I wonder,
But I try my best,
To keep you impressed,
Smiling brightly on a gloomy day,
Warding sadden thoughts away.

Uplifting silver-,
Linings I hope to deliver
When I see you again,
To have you smile when-
Ever you feel blue,
When I am not there with you.

But know that you will never,
Be alone ever,
I will always be here,
Waiting for you dear.
