Spending Time Alone
After a long day,
Sink into dismay,
Mind in disarray.
The thumbs they twiddle,
To the mild drizzle,
Dissecting a riddle,
On my own,
Spending time alone.
Stranded with my thoughts,
Stomach tied in knots,
The mind divulge plots.
Days are now a blur,
Drowning in liquor,
Thinking about her,
On my own,
Spending time alone.
Night begins to fall,
Time proceeds to crawl,
Waiting for a call.
Treading stick and stone,
Her events unknown,
Waiting by the phone,
On my own,
Spending time alone.
